Here are some poems I wrote for my class. I think they really describe me right now. I don't really blog... I write poetry. So here is a little of what I have been working on.
The Day I Got A Puppy By Allison Schutt Last Monday I opened my door; I opened a new chapter in my life. But little did I know I would open pack after pack Of paper towels To wipe on my kitchen floor. That would make a pretty long book.
The White Seal By Allison Schutt
Are you woman, Are you woman? Animal I Bi- Te you. I Love You. But, how? You drag me, With an unseen hand.

I'm sitting here at work trying to figure out how to finish my personal statement for my Fullbright for Austria. I'm getting more and more anxious about this whole ordeal. I don't have a plan for when i graduate. My dream plan goes something like this: FEB: Finish Fullbright and send it in. MAR: Work on my Thesis and finish most of it. APR: Finish Thesis. Recieve Fullbright MAY: Graduate. Move home. June: work. allie's wedding. July: work August: fly to germany September: move to austria. ....
that is what i want. i am having a bit of a crisis because i'm 100% not sure what i'm going to do if i don't get the fullbright. i have no plan. NO PLAN. i don't want to be a grown up yet. |

i finally gave in to reading the "twilight" series, the vampire series by stephanie meyers. And i will honestly say, i could not put it down. It is nowhere near on par with Harry Potter, but it's very entertaining. Of all fictional creatures...vampires scare me the least. If you know me, you know i will run out of any film that has anything involving zombies. it's just an irrational fear of mine. like my anxiety about refried beans. it's not based on anything, but it's there. But vampires, not so much. weird. one of my favorite books as a child was bunnicula. |

I am amazed by technology. I am typing this on my new iPod touch at work in Centennial hospital waiting for people to come and ask me to make them coffe. This is just nuts to me. This thing even corrects my spelling. How weird. I wish I were outside though. The one day that is manageable. I am stuck inside while my roomate is at the pool. Oh yeah I live in an apt now. And I'm going to take a page from annie and patrick and say how into my new room I am... I am SO into my new room. Come over!
P.S. I am baaAaaack. |
